Quartz Rec was founded in 2008 by Paul Ritch. The label was conceived as a platform of artistic expression for showcasing cutting-edge techno sounds and a broad vision of electronic music.
Thus, in its five-year existence, Quartz Rec has been able to boast artists such as Okain, 2000 And One, Paco Osuna, Carlo Lio, Anton Pieete, Hermanez, Michel de Hey and Thomas Muller, among many others.
‘Liberta’ means the start of something in Portuguese slang from the streets of Rio De Janeiro, where DJ and Producer Vinicius Honorio was born. It also can mean freedom, so his brand new label wants to create just that - freedom for artists to express.
