Syl Gordon a renowned audio engineer has worked with artists selling more than 20 million albums and delivering more than 50 number #1 hit records. His work included credits from Shabba Ranks Grammy Winning Albums ''As Raw As Ever'' and Xtra Naked'' to Remixing with Nelly Furtado "Turn off the light".
In the mid 90's,he established 321 Strong Productions which operate Cell Block Recording Studio and Cylton Music Publishing & Distribution.
Throughout his career, Syl has produced some of Jamaica renowned cultural icons including Reggae singer Dennis Brown,Gregory Isaacs, Buju Banton,Beres Hammond, Shaggy,Coco Tea,Michael Rose, Hopeton Lindo,Luciano,Brian and Tony Gold,Wayne Wonder,Tony Rebel,Lady Saw,Tanya Stephens, J.C. Lodge,Beenie Man,Jah Cure,
Sizzla,Turbulance,Anthony B,Lutan Fyah just to name a few.
His Cell Block & 321 Strong label had a series of hits with Buju Banton (Rampage, Not an Easy Road, ICI, Fake Smile and the "Till Shiloh" interlude) Jah Cure (Sunny Day) Beres Hammond & Marcia Griffith (Focusing Time) A.R.P. (Lion Sleeps Tonight- hit in Japan's reggae circles).
